I love this poem and have found it again while doing admin on the computer...I just wanted to Air and Share it as it is written by an amazing wise being...Enjoy and absorb the truth...

The Rape of Our Earth Mother
Listen to this tale I tell.
Hear the words and heed them well.
For it is a tale like no other,
About the rape of our Earth Mother.
Listen whilst I tell to thee
This story, heard at my mother's knee,
About a time, obscured in myth,
When we didn't live like this.
There was a time, the people say,
When we did not live this way.
"Tis true we did in ancient past,
But that time too, it could not last.
Once before, in times of old,
We lived on the land, free and bold.
The sun was warm, the grass was green,
The air was pure, the water clean.
We lived in harmony on the moor,
Took what was needed, nothing more.
The sun and moon gave us their care.
We honored them each day with prayer.
But gradually, so we did not realize,
Things changed before unseeing eyes.
The gifts of Father Sky and Mother Earth
Now were sought for just their worth.
People hardened to Her cries of pain.
They took and took for earthly gain.
They thought, in order to satisfy,
A part of Mother Earth should die.
They would not stop, these so-called men;
Any means, to achieve an end.
They stripped Her bare and let Her lie
In full view of the Father Sky,
Who could only watch in helpless pain,
His tears falling as acid rain.
They foraged inside Her ancient womb.
They ravaged Her, and left a tomb.
They built houses, taller than highest trees
And horrible places called factories
That spewed blackened fumes into the air
And poisoned all that once lived there.
The toxins were dumped into the water,
Poisoning the blood of our Earth Mother.
Then, as if this all weren't quite enough,
Mankind decided it wanted more stuff.
The people demanded more and more,
And so decided to go to war.
Battles have been fought, and lost, and won
Since earliest times under the sun.
But these new wars were not just fought;
Entire lands were laid to naught.
They fought and took and did not care
That they left destruction everywhere.
For all these years Mother Earth lay meek;
Too sick to care, to sick to speak.
Then, one day, in a flash of light
All they knew vanished, from their sight.
Fires raged and poisoned smoke
Caused the people to cough and choke.
Pain and sickness made them cry.
Billions just lay down to die,
Black smoke blinded Father Sky.
He listened, helpless as Mother earth cried.
Then an eerie silence reigned.
Mother Earth silently lay in pain.
She lay that way for centuries;
It seemed all life had ceased to be.
Father Sky could only cry in pain;
His tears falling as torrential rain.
But the tears he cried began to wash away
The destruction that occurred that day.
Those who lost life in that war
Returned to Mother Earth once more.
Very slowly she began to heal.
The scabs fell away to reveal
Not all life had perished that day;
Some had been allowed to stay.
In places spread across the land
There walked a woman, and a man.
As God and Goddess Sky and Earth came
And to each child remaining, gave a name.
They charged them to live simply on the land
Never again to let balance get out of hand.
They gave them grain and plants and trees,
And animals to supply their needs.
They taught them to honor the Moon and Sun.
They taught them to let the rivers run
Pure and clean, wild and free;
As they always were intended to be.
They blessed the people with children there,
And once more laughter rang through the air.
Mother Earth, as the story is told,
Told Her children, in words bold:
That never again would a time come
When She would allow, what once had been done.
Steps would be taken, if need be
To maintain her health and stability.
She left Her children these words to fulfill,
"An' it harm NONE, do what ye will.
Live in harmony with each other:
Father, Mother, Sister, Brother.
Walk softly this time on the land;
Never allow yourselves to get out of hand."
Honor the Lady and the Lord,
Give thanks daily with deed and word.
There is one thing you must never do...
Ne'er forget these words I've said to you.
This is our last chance, there'll be know other.
Ne'er forget the rape of our Earth Mother.

I am writing a book to tie-in launch of the "Voices Love Music" concert tour.... and am looking to compile stories from other women that have survived DOMESTIC VIOLENCE focusing specifically on stories of survival and what helped them heal.

1. I would only want each woman to share what they are comfortable to share. For this, we are not looking for women to necessarily document "the whole story".... we are more looking to hear what each woman did/are doing to survive and heal.... to give other women hope that they too can do the same.

2. I don't want to put any limitations or expectations on each woman's story...so that each woman can just write freely as much or as little as they feel inclined in an effort to help other victims. The Divine Plan

Your Part in the Divine Plan~
Your part of this Divine Plan is unique. There is not another soul who has been prepared in exactly the same way to accomplish what you have volunteered to do. You have all of the wisdom, skill, knowledge, strength, courage and ability you need to succeed. The Legions of Light throughout Infinity are standing in readiness awaiting the opportunity to assist you at your beck and call.

Only your mighty I AM Presence can reveal to you the full magnitude of this auspicious moment in the Earth’s evolution. As you seek the Kingdom of Heaven within, all will be revealed to you. Read these words and feel them resonating in the deepest recesses of your heart. Allow the inner knowing of this Truth to awaken within you the remembrance of your purpose and reason for being.

The influx of Creation Energy expands through the open door of Humanity’s collective consciousness, the Grid of Divine Love is becoming stronger and more powerful. The Beings of Light have indicated that the collective radiance of this Grid of Love is the most powerful force of Light on the planet at this time. It has formed a Bridge of Light that spans the abyss from the lowest vibrations on Earth into the 5th-Dimensional Realm of Infinite Physical Perfection. This is the Bridge to Freedom over which this Earth and all her Life are now Ascending onto the next Spiral of Evolution.

The Grid of Divine Love within the Heart Flames of Humanity is once again fulfilling its Divine Purpose, we have the ability as never before to heal our self-inflicted separation from each other and our Father-Mother God. This is, in fact, the next phase of the Divine Plan. Can you fathom the elation pouring forth from the Heavenly Realms as this opportunity is presented to the dedicated Lightworkers on Earth?
We each have the ability to serve as a surrogate on behalf of Humanity. “As I AM lifted up, all Life is lifted up with me.” To begin the process, we need to open our hearts to every evolving soul on Earth. This is not easy when we observe some of the terrible things people are doing to each other and to the other lifeforms on the planet, but it is a necessary step in becoming an Instrument of God.
Remember, the most powerful awakening force in the Universe is the power of God’s Love flowing through your sacred Heart Flame into the Heart Flame of another Human Being.

We never know what set of circumstances compels people to choose the negative paths they have chosen or what causes them to make the self-destructive decisions they make, but in order to shift our feelings from anger and disappointment to love and understanding, we need to step back and contemplate the bigger picture. First of all, we must remember that everyone is doing the best they can according to their wisdom, their understanding and their belief systems.

This is true regardless of whether or not we think they should know better or whether it is obvious to everyone else in the world that what the person is doing is wrong. If the person fully understood the principle of the Oneness of all Life and the ramifications of their negative actions in the face of that fundamental Law, they would not behave in the negative manner in which they are behaving. It is just that simple.
When we grasp the Truth that everyone is doing the best they can, our thinking changes. We no longer look at people as bad or evil. Rather, we look at them as we would unaware children who are unable to comprehend the results of their behavior. Sometimes children do terrible things without any idea of what the end result of their actions will be, but instead of hating them and wishing them harm, we embrace them and strive to teach them a better way through love and patience.

Through the love, compassion and dedicated invocations of awakened Lightworkers, the Grid of Divine Love is now softening the hearts and enlightening the minds of recalcitrant souls who are resisting the Light. These precious ones are gradually raising their heads above the negativity and, one-by-one, they are reclaiming the path of existence that will inspire them to fulfill the mission of cocreating Heaven on Earth.

As the newly activated Grid of Divine Love bathes the hearts and minds of Humanity, more and more people are awakening and remembering who they are and why they are here. When people awaken and their consciousness is raised up, they begin to “see with new eyes and hear with new ears.” This phenomenon has the effect of allowing people to clearly perceive the Divine Truth that ALL Life is interconnected, interrelated and interdependent. Then people know THERE IS NO US AND THEM; we are ALL One.

When this Truth resonates in the deepest recesses of our hearts, the validity of war becomes impossible to reconcile, and the distorted concept of poverty, greed, corruption, violence, abuse of power, oppression, hatred, selfishness, prejudice, pollution, disease, ignorance or any other reflection of our belief in separation becomes impossible to accept.
We are in the midst of a peak transmission period from the Celestial Realms. In August 2007, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harmonic Convergence. Every year for the past 20 years, during the week of Harmonic Convergence, the Company of Heaven has worked with embodied Lightworkers to accomplish a unique facet of the Divine Plan. The intent of that Divine Intervention has been to fulfill the greatest need of the hour in Humanity’s Ascension process. Step by step, miracles have taken place that have catapulted this sweet Earth and all her Life up the Spiral of Evolution. Now we are being asked to join together to accomplish the most critical phase of the Divine Plan that has been attempted to date.
The vehicle that will be used to gather the Lightworkers is the Twenty-first Annual World Congress On Illumination. The Mayan Prophecy- 2012

I have read so many peoples comments and beliefs on the subject of 2012 and there seems to be mass hysteria in certain forums, creating fear amongst people, stating the World will end...In fact I have just finished watching a history program on The Mayans and the prediction of the ending of the World...

Many People believe the World will end in 2012.......

Personally this does not resonate with my feelings and many others I suspect...I have always believed that 2012 would be the beginning of a new and wonderful Era, when peace begins on Earth and the damage done to it and its inhabitants, including Humans (the legacy of vile wrong doings to defenseless beings and earths life) be reversed...And once again become the gardeners of our own heritage, working with love...Balance of mind is needed and the coming together of the good, a message I keep getting through My Trees of Life...In fact I see much change, for the good...

There is much work to do, we are being summoned to WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE....We are born intuitive...Stop and listen to the truth of your heart...OPEN YOUR EYES TO THE TRUTH OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR WORLD...Stop feeding the fat cats, and lets work together to get the GOOD in power, rather than the fear mongers and dictators...No one owns this Earth or anything that lives...We as a Nation are the Gardeners of our Earth and Soul...(Say's she on the Day that the Russians claimed a piece of the oceans bed by putting a flag on the bottom of it...I ask you...Madness)...Materialism is a dis-ease that we have been fed by those who want to own us, we can not be owned...All life is equal in the eyes of God...

Alan Moore interviews Carlos Barrios

CARLOS BARRIOS was born into a Spanish family on El Altiplano, the highlands of Guatemala. His home was in Huehuetenango, also the dwelling place of the Maya Mam tribe. With other Maya and other indigenous tradition keepers, the Mam carry part of the old ways on Turtle Island (North America). They are keepers of time, authorities on remarkable calendars that are ancient, elegant and relevant.

Mr. Barrios is a historian, an anthropologist and investigator. After studying with traditional elders for 25 years since the age of 19, he has also became a Mayan Ajq'ij, a ceremonial priest and spiritual guide, Eagle Clan.

Years ago, along with his brother, Gerardo, Carlos initiated an investigation into the different Mayan calendars. He studied with many teachers. He says his brother Gerardo interviewed nearly 600 traditional Mayan elders to widen their scope of knowledge.

"Anthropologists visit the temple sites," Mr. Barrios says, "and read the steles and inscriptions and make up stories about the Maya, but they do not read the signs correctly. It's just their imagination... Other people write about prophecy in the name of the Maya. They say that the world will end in December 2012. The Mayan elders are angry with this. The world will not end. It will be transformed. The indigenous have the calendars, and know how to accurately interpret it, not others."

The Mayan Calendars comprehension of time, seasons, and cycles has proven itself to be vast and sophisticated. The Maya understand 17 different calendars, some of them charting time accurately over a span of more than ten million years. The calendar that has steadily drawn global attention since 1987 is called the Tzolk'in or Cholq'ij. Devised ages ago and based on the cycle of the Pleiades, it is still held as sacred. With the indigenous calendars, native people have kept track of important turning points in history. For example, the day keepers who study the calendars identified an important day in the year One Reed, Ce Acatal, as it was called by the Mexicans. That was the day when an important ancestor was prophesied to return, "coming like a butterfly." In the western calendar, the One Reed date correlates to Easter Sunday, April 21, 1519 the day that Hernando Cortez and his fleet of 11 Spanish galleons arrived from the East at what is today called Vera Cruz, Mexico.

When the Spanish ships came toward shore, native people were waiting and watching to see how it would go. The billowing sails of the ships did indeed remind the scouts of butterflies skimming the ocean surface.

In this manner was a new era initiated, an era they had anticipated through their calendars. The Maya termed the new era the Nine Bolomtikus, or nine Hells of 52 years each. As the nine cycles unfolded, land and freedom were taken from the native people. Disease and disrespect dominated. What began with the arrival of Cortez, lasted until August 16, 1987 - a date many people recall as Harmonic Convergence. Millions of people took advantage of that date to make ceremony in sacred sites, praying for a smooth transition to a new era, the World of the Fifth Sun.

From that 1987 date until now, Mr. Barrios says, we have been in a time when the right arm of the materialistic world is disappearing, slowly but inexorably. We are at the cusp of the era when peace begins, and people live in harmony with Mother Earth. We are no longer in the World of the Fourth Sun, but we are not yet in the World of the Fifth Sun. This is the time in-between, the time of transition.

As we pass through transition there is a colossal, global convergence of environmental destruction, social chaos, war, and ongoing Earth changes.

All this, Mr. Barrios says, was foreseen via the simple, spiral mathematics of the Mayan calendars. "It will change," Mr. Barrios observes. "Everything will change." He said Mayan Daykeepers view the Dec. 21, 2012 date as a rebirth, the start of the World of the Fifth Sun. It will be the start of a new era resulting from and signified by the solar meridian crossing the galactic equator, and the earth aligning itself with the center of the galaxy.

At sunrise on December 21, 2012 for the first time in 26,000 years the Sun rises to conjunct the intersection of the Milky Way and the plane of the ecliptic. This cosmic cross is considered to be an embodiment of the Sacred Tree, The Tree of Life, a tree remembered in all the world's spiritual traditions.

Some observers say this alignment with the heart of the galaxy in 2012 will open a channel for cosmic energy to flow through the earth, cleansing it and all that dwells upon it, raising all to a higher level of vibration.

This process has already begun, Mr. Barrios suggested.

"Change is accelerating now, and it will continue to accelerate." If the people of the earth can get to this 2012 date in good shape, without having destroyed too much of the Earth, Mr. Barrios said, we will rise to a new, higher level. But to get there we must transform enormously powerful forces that seek to block the way.

A Picture of the Road Ahead From his understanding of the Mayan tradition and the calendars, Mr. Barrios offered a picture of where we are at and what may lie on the road ahead: The date specified in the calendar Winter Solstice in the year 2012 does not mark the end of the world. Many outside people writing about the Mayan calendar sensationalize this date, but they do not know. The ones who know are the indigenous elders who are entrusted with keeping the tradition.

"Humanity will continue," he contends, "but in a different way. Material structures will change. From this we will have the opportunity to be more human." We are living in the most important era of the Mayan calendars and prophecies. All the prophecies of the world, all the traditions, are converging now. There is no time for games. The spiritual ideal of this era is action. Many powerful souls have reincarnated in this era, with a lot of power. This is true on both sides, the light and the dark. High magic is at work on both sides.

Things will change, but it is up to the people how difficult or easy it is for the changes to come about. The economy now is a fiction. The first five-year stretch of transition from August 1987 to August 1992 was the beginning of the destruction of the material world. We have progressed ten years deeper into the transition phase by now, and many of the so-called sources of financial stability are in fact hollow.

The banks are weak. This is a delicate moment for them. They could crash globally if we don't pay attention. If the banks crash ... then we will be forced to rely on the land and our skills. The monetary systems will be in chaos, and we must then rely on our direct relationship with the Earth for our food and shelter. The North and South Poles are both breaking up. The level of the water in the oceans is going to rise. But at the same time land in the ocean, especially near Cuba, is also going to rise.

A Call for Fusion
As he met with audiences in Santa Fe, Mr. Barrios told a story about the most recent Mayan New Year ceremonies in Guatemala. He said that one respected Mam elder, who lives all year in a solitary mountain cave, journeyed to Chichicastenango to speak with the people at the ceremony. The elder delivered a simple, direct message. He called for human beings to come together in support of life and light. Right now each person and group is going his or her own way. The elder of the mountains said there is hope if the people of the light can come together and unite in some way.

Reflecting on this, Mr. Barrios explained: "We live in a world of polarity: day and night, man and woman, positive and negative. Light and darkness need each other. They are a balance. Just now the dark side is very strong, and very clear about what they want. They have their vision and their priorities clearly held, and also their hierarchy. They are working in many ways so that we will be unable to connect with the spiral Fifth World in 2012."

"On the light side everyone thinks they are the most important, that their own understandings, or their group's understandings, are the key. There's a diversity of cultures and opinions, so there is competition, diffusion, and no single focus."

As Mr. Barrios sees it, the dark side works to block fusion through denial and materialism. It also works to destroy those who are working with the light to get the Earth to a higher level. They like the energy of the old, declining Fourth World, the materialism. They do not want it to change. They do not want fusion. They want to stay at this level, and are afraid of the next level.

The dark power of the declining Fourth World cannot be destroyed or overpowered. It's too strong and clear for that, and that is the wrong strategy. The dark can only be transformed when confronted with simplicity and open-heartedness. This is what leads to fusion, a key concept for the World of the Fifth Sun.

Mr. Barrios said the emerging era of the Fifth Sun will call attention to a much-overlooked element. Whereas the four traditional elements of earth, air, fire and water have dominated various epochs in the past, there will be a fifth element to reckon with in the time of the Fifth Sun: ether. The dictionary defines ether as the rarefied element of the Heavens. Ether is a medium. It permeates all space and transmits waves of energy in a wide range of frequencies, from cell phones to human auras. What is "ethereal" is related to the regions beyond earth: the heavens.

Ether the element of the Fifth Sun is celestial and lacking in material substance, but is no less real than wood, stone or flesh. "Within the context of ether there can be a fusion of the polarities," Mr. Barrios said. "No more darkness or light in the people, but an uplifted fusion. But right now the realm of darkness is not interested in this. They are organized to block it. They seek to unbalance the Earth and its environment so we will be unready for the alignment in 2012. We need to work together for peace, and balance with the other side. We need to take care of the Earth that feeds and shelters us. We need to put our entire mind and heart into pursuing unity and fusion now, to confront the other side and preserve life."

To be Ready for this Moment in History Mr. Barrios told his audiences in Santa Fe that we are at a critical moment of world history. "We are disturbed," he said. "We can't play anymore. Our planet can be renewed or ravaged. Now is the time to awaken and take action."

"Everyone is needed. You are not here for no reason. Everyone who is here now has an important purpose. This is a hard, but a special time. We have the opportunity for growth, but we must be ready for this moment in history."

Mr. Barrios offered a number of suggestions to help people walk in balance through the years ahead. "The prophesied changes are going to happen," he said "but our attitude and actions determine how harsh or mild they are."

We need to act, to make changes, and to elect people to represent us who understand and who will take political action to respect the earth.

Meditation and spiritual practice are good, but also action. It's very important to be clear about who you are, and also about your relation to the Earth. Develop yourself according to your own tradition and the call of your heart. But remember to respect differences, and strive for unity. Eat wisely.

A lot of food is corrupt in either subtle or gross ways. Pay attention to what you are taking into your body. Learn to preserve food, and to conserve energy. Learn some good breathing techniques, so you have mastery of your breath.

Be clear.
Follow a tradition with great roots. It is not important what tradition, your heart will tell you, but it must have great roots. We live in a world of energy. An important task at this time is to learn to sense or see the energy of everyone and everything: people, plants, animals. This becomes increasingly important as we draw close to the World of the Fifth Sun, for it is associated with the element ether - the realm where energy lives and weaves.

Go to the sacred places of the earth to pray for peace, and have respect for the Earth which gives us our food, clothing, and shelter. We need to reactivate the energy of these sacred places. That is our work.

According to Mr. Barrios' reading of the Mayan calendar, if war happens in November 2002 or after, then it's bad, but not catastrophic. But if it happens between April and November 2003, it will be catastrophic. Really bad. It could eventually result in the death of two-thirds of humanity. "So stay active," he said. "If we are active, we can transform the planet. The elders watch to see what happens."

Many Mayan elders and knowledge keepers may be eliminated in the next few years. For the first half of the current Katun (20-year period) the dark side has a lot of power. But that will pass 3 to 4 years from now. The tide can turn. Amazing things are going to happen.

One simple but effective prayer technique is to light a white or baby-blue colored candle. Think a moment in peace. Speak your intention to the flame and send the light of it on to the leaders who have the power to make war or peace.

We Have Work to Do
According to Mr. Barrios this is a crucially important moment for humanity, and for earth. Each person is important. If you have incarnated into this era, you have spiritual work to do balancing the planet. He said the elders have opened the doors so that other races can come to the Mayan world to receive the tradition. The Maya have long appreciated and respected that there are other colors, other races, and other spiritual systems. "They know," he said, "that the destiny of the Mayan world is related to the destiny of the whole world."

"The greatest wisdom is in simplicity," Mr. Barrios advised before leaving Santa Fe. "Love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude, forgiveness. It's not complex or elaborate. The real knowledge is free. It's encoded in your DNA. All you need is within you. Great teachers have said that from the beginning. Find your heart, and you will find your way."

Purity

A powerful, yet often misunderstood, aim of spiritual study is purity. Purity of the soul means to return to its original divine qualities. The soul has become so polluted with less than divine qualities, it can hardly enjoy being alive. Purifying the soul puts the higher self back in charge - useless and negative thoughts are removed and annoying habits finish. A pure soul cannot be touched by sorrow; indeed the power of purity is such, it serves to remove the sorrow of the whole world. Purity restores happiness - even bliss. All you need to do, in order to re-establish your purity, is want it. But you need to want it intensely, to the exclusion of everything else. Transform Negativity

The energies of life come to meet us at every moment. Most come from other people who are either in the same room or on the flickering, technicolour screens with which we now share most of our homes. The vast majority of these energies are not positive.

So how do we handle the 'the negatives', whether it's someone's attitude, their hurtful gestures or our daily dose of world violence and mayhem?

There are three cardinal rules.

First, do not absorb it - don't be an emotional sponge.

Second do not reflect it back. Otherwise you begin a cycle of emotional exchanges which may last a long time.

And third, do the one thing which marks us as intelligent human beings - transform it. Even if the scene is a disaster there is some benefit somewhere in it. Even if you are watching two peoples beliefs or opinions slug it out to the edge of violence don't take sides.

Instead offer a solution then stand well back. Even if the person hates you, accept their state of being and return the light of love.

In time, with patience, it will illuminate their darkness, and return to you by the bucketful! Just wait.

When the Lord was creating Firefighters, he was into his sixth day of overtime when an angel appeared and said, "Your doing a lot of fiddling around on this one."

And the Lord said "Have you read the specification on this person? Firefighters have to be able to go for hours fighting fires or tending to a person that the usual every day person would never touch, while putting in the back of their mind the circumstances. They have to be able to move at a second's notice and not think twice of what they are about to do, no matter what danger. They have to be in top physical condition at all times, running on half-eaten meals, and they must have six pairs of hands."

The angel shook her head slowly and said, "Six pairs of hands...no way."

"It's not the hands that are causing me problems, " said the Lord, "it's the three pairs of eyes a Firefighter has to have."

That's on the standard model? " asked the angel.

The Lord nodded. " One pair that sees through the fire and where they and their fellow Firefighters should fight the fire next. Another pair here in the side of the head to see their fellow Firefighters and keep them safe. And another pair of eyes in the front so that they can look for the victims caught in the fire that need their help."

"Lord" said the angel, touching his sleeve, " Rest and work on this tomorrow."

"I can't, said the Lord, "I already have a model that can carry a 250 pound man down a flight of stairs and to safety from a burning building, and can feed a family of five on a civil service paycheck."

The angel circled the model of the Firefighter very slowly, "Can it think?"

"You bet," said the Lord. It can tell you the elements of a hundred fires; and can recite procedures in their sleep that are needed to care for a person until they reach the hospital. And all the while they have to keep their wits about themselves. This Firefighter also has phenomenal personal control. They can deal with a scene full of pain and hurt, coaxing a child's mother into letting go of the child so that they can care for the child in need. And still they rarely get the recognition for a job well done from anybody, other than from fellow Firefighters."

Finally, the angel bent over and ran her finger across the cheek of the Firefighter. "There's a leak", she pronounced. "Lord, it's a tear."

"What's the tear for?" asked the angel.

"It's a tear from bottled-up emotions for fallen comrades. A tear for commitment to that funny piece of cloth called the American Flag. It's a tear for all the pain and suffering they have encountered. And it's a tear for their commitment to caring for and saving lives of their fellow man!"

"What a wonderful feature Lord, you're a genius" said the angel.

The Lord looked somber and said "I didn't put it there."

Footprints

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking
along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets
of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to him the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him
and he questioned the Lord about it.
Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you
most you would leave me.

The Lord replied,
My precious, precious child.
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.

I woke up with this poem in my head this morning...hmmm
It is an interpretation of a dream I had lad night...or was it?

An Angel visited me last night and
wrapped me in her wings, so tight.
I felt secure, warm and happy, when
I woke up I was all happy and Light.
I had this feeling I was surrounded
by nature, as if in the warmest wood.
And when I get the chance I will revisit
the magical, wondrous forest, if I could.
For I surely was in the land of wonder,
brimming with love, hope and trust.

Oh I can't wait for tonight to revisit,
the land where there's Angels among us.

Sending Love and Light

I like to use poetry when connecting with my Angels.
I find it an easy way to convey what I want to say.

This one is a for all the children and troubled souls.

Dear Guardian Angel of mine
Please can you answer my quest,
I have a task I need fulfilling
And would like to give it my best.

My task is to send love to all children,
and to the troubled souls on this land.
I wish to send all my light and love
And offer help to those that need a hand.

The Angel Replied

Of course I can my child of light, I
shall radiate your light and love
So that all you wish to send it to
Will receive your gift from above.
Now rest dear child and re-energise
Your loving light has been received.
And remember always to call on me
Whenever you feel the need.

In Search of Happiness

IN SEARCH OF HAPPINESS

“ What does happiness mean and where can I find it?” I asked the Angels one day.
“loving your self” the Angels replied. “So I’ve been looking in the wrong places?” I say.
“Yes for the only place you’ll find happiness is deep within your own sweet soul,
And the only way for you to access it is to accept you are worthy of love and a whole.”

“When you realise it is only you, standing in your way of the happiness that resides within,
It will be the day you move forward in life, achieve your dreams and enjoy life once again.
Just as you did when you were so young and pure, before you’re heart felt so broken.
Now go sweet child and enjoy your gift of life, and remember about what we have spoken.”

“Oh thank you dear Angels for answering my question and making it all seem so clear.
For helping me to understand how the choice is mine, to be happy or to live in fear.
From this day forward I shall treasure my life and be happy with the gift I’ve been given,
I shall walk with love in my heart and see the beauty in all, oh… I feel so happy I am living.

For all these years I thought it was others who brought sadness, keeping me from being happy.
Now I see that I was looking outside for happiness, when all the time it resided within me.
I send my sincerest apologies to all those that I have blamed, while in search for happiness,
And pray that they will forgive me, for blaming them, when I felt my life was a mess.

For now I now that I am full of joy, I shall spread the knowledge I have learnt from you,

I would like to share this prayer that I wrote.

The very next day after writing it I found a tiny white feather inside my front porch and my husband found one in the kitchen and another in our living room...There was no explanation we could find for them being there other than my prayers being answered...

Dear Angel of mine, please hear my prayer.

I need to know that you are there

By my side, to guide and teach me,

Can you give me a sign to say I have reached thee?

Dear Angel of mine I feel you are near,

I feel your warmth, are you here?

I felt your presence; I felt your touch,

Please can you stay a while I need you so much.

The Angel Replied

I am always around, you just need to call

Whatever your needs, big or small.

I love you dear child and always will

So settle your mind, keep it still.

I will be by your side forever more

To nurture you with a love that's pure.

To help you in your times of need

Because my love for you is guaranteed.
