Count your blessings

Count your blessings instead of your crosses;

Count your gains instead of your losses.

Count your joys instead of your woes;

Count your friends instead of your foes.

Count your smiles instead of your tears;

Count your courage instead of your fears.

Count your full years instead of your lean;

Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.

Count your health instead of your wealth;

Love your neighbor as much as yourself.

Native American Prayer For Humility

The prayer you are about to read makes me realise that there are too many generations of our people who have forgotten where we truly come from...

Listen to the ones who are not followers of fashion but of Mother Nature, The Universal Father and the Spirits of life...

The Natives are truly connected to Spirit for they own Humility, something that is so rare to find in our Modern society...

Listen to Mother Nature and Follow Your Heart...Not Fashion...It's what the Natives do, they understand and listen where we tend to be too busy to listen to ourselves let alone anyone else...

It's time to slow down and listen to the voices of Goodness... We do not need fictitious, pretentious happiness, which is what most Moderners have...Every one seems to be want want wanting, but they are wanting the wrong thing...

Want for Happiness, Peace and Loving Relationships...Do something now about your Wanting before it is too late...Listen to the Natives they are Wise, Connected and Peaceful Loving People...Eden's Spirit

PRAYER FOR THE WHITE MAN

And now, Grandfather, I ask you to bless

the White Man.

He needs your Wisdom, your guidance.

You see, for so long,

he has tried to destroy my people,

and only feels comfortable

when given power.

Bless them, show them the peace we understand,

teach them humility.

For I fear they will someday destroy themselves

and their children,

As they have done so Mother Earth.

I plead, I cry.

After all, They are my Brothers.......

Native American Indian Prayer for sStrength

Great Spirit Prayer

Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the wind,

Whose breath gives life to all the world.

Hear me; I need your strength and wisdom.

Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.

Make my hands respect the things you have made and my ears sharp to hear your voice

Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people.

Help me to remain calm and strong in the face of all that comes towards me.

Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock.

Help me seek pure thoughts and act with the intention of helping others.

Help me find compassion without empathy overwhelming me.

I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy

Myself.

Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes.

So when life fades, as the fading sunset, my spirit may come to you without shame.

Footprints

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking
along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets
of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to him the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him
and he questioned the Lord about it.
Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you
most you would leave me.

The Lord replied,
My precious, precious child.
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.

A Prayer for those who Hate

The Music of Karl Anthony

A TRUE EARTH ANGEL WHOSE SONG A PRAYER FOR PEOPLE WHO HATE IS ONE NOT TO BE MISSED...

This Prayer is sung by Karl and Jeanne Anthony, Jeanne is singing in ASL.

ONE PRAYER

by Karl Anthony

If I had one prayer, I'd pray for people who hate
Maybe I'm out of my mind ...or deep in my faith
A man grows old ...when his souls in pain
Only love can loosen that chain

But if I offer you grace, will it cause any change
And do I appear weak, if I calm my rage
I think of revenge, but will I become
The thing I despise, when a heart goes numb

I'll say a prayer, hoping it finds ...people who hate
I send it now, to heal the hearts ...of people who hate

If only one song ...could silence hate
And end all the war ...before its too late
If a cold mind ...could begin to feel

Then the fear in our world ...has a chance to heal

I'll say a prayer, knowing it finds ...people who hate
I send it now, to heal the hearts ...of people who hate
......pray for people who hate

All of our thoughts ...can set the stage
For the power of love ...is larger than rage
When we take revenge ...we will become
The hate we despise ...as our soul goes numb

I have One Prayer ...for the world to hear
It's a cry for mercy ...the last of our tears
Let hate dissolve ... let the past reveal
That love has shown us what is real

Angels above, quiet the pain ...in people who hate
I'm sending One Prayer, to heal the hearts ...in people who hate

One prayer.....Pray!

(May all be loved, may all be blessed, may all feel peace....pray for people who hate)

I'm sending love to people who hate

I must be out of my mind ...or deep in my faith

I woke up with this poem in my head this morning...hmmm
It is an interpretation of a dream I had lad night...or was it?

An Angel visited me last night and
wrapped me in her wings, so tight.

I felt secure, warm and happy, when
I woke up I was all happy and Light.

I had this feeling I was surrounded
by nature, as if in the warmest wood.

And when I get the chance I will revisit
the magical, wondrous forest, if I could.

For I surely was in the land of wonder,
brimming with love, hope and trust.

Oh I can't wait for tonight to revisit,
the land where there's Angels among us.

Sending Love and Light

I like to use poetry when connecting with my Angels.
I find it an easy way to convey what I want to say.

This one is a for all the children and troubled souls.

Dear Guardian Angel of mine
Please can you answer my quest,
I have a task I need fulfilling
And would like to give it my best.

My task is to send love to all children,
and to the troubled souls on this land.

I wish to send all my light and love

And offer help to those that need a hand.

The Angel Replied

Of course I can my child of light, I
shall radiate your light and love

So that all you wish to send it to

Will receive your gift from above.

Now rest dear child and re-energise

Your loving light has been received.

And remember always to call on me

Whenever you feel the need.

Thank you dear Angel, you are precious

I will always be grateful to thee.

I send you too, all my love and light

And thank you for listening to me.
