Political Assylum

I found this Piece of poetry today, it brings home
the harsh reality of Human sacrifice...
I do not know why this happens, maybe
it is because of total disregard for life...

I want to thank the person who wrote
such a moving piece, but cannot because
I know not their name, so I shall
thank the Lord for opening my
Heart and eyes to such words...

Please let their be Peace...

Political Assylum

North Korean refugees are survivors,

Otherwise known as political defectors, in North Korea.

Reports of 300,000 refugees escaped to China.

There they are killed, sold into slavery, or returned to the

Home land and detained in “re-education camps” to be executed.

Korea divided into North and South

On July 27, 1953 and the North became the Democratic People’s

Republic of Korea with Kim IL Sung as their beloved leader.

Everyone in the South won their freedom and the liberties shared by

All in the United States of America.

Now Kim Jung IL is the president of North Korea.

Revolutionaries are persecuted under Kim Jung IL’s fascist regime;

Even people seeking political asylum.

Freedom and hope for a kinder leader and a better way of life

Under these cruel and unjust circumstances seem impossible.

Given all that we know about China and North Korea, it has been

Estimated that 7-million North Koreans have died in political camps, were

Exiled, or starved to death from famine and disease.

Since the Holocaust, there hasn’t been a more horrific account of genocide.

Never again should such a travesty be part of our history.

Each representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees need to

Express the urgency for World Action and take back the powers that leave its people

Defenseless, uneducated and abused.

United we stand on Human Rights. This

Solidarity for World Peace rings tonight.

Who will be brave enough to grant their wish?
